My name is Kyle Alcorn and anyone who knows me, will tell you Business Development (BD) for the DoD industry is my passion. I am one of the few who transferred from a Government civilian to a contractor, usually, it goes the other way around. I wholeheartedly believe in supporting the War Fighter, but I thought I could make more of a difference in the private sector. I left the Government as a DAU Level II certified Contract Specialist and dove straight into BD. Using the knowledge I gained supporting the Expeditionary Warfare Department at Crane, I was able to grow a small business in the Crane market by 83% my first year with a total awards amount of $181M. The need for Business Development in this industry is evident. The services I offer enables companies to bolster their Business Development structure, without the need for a full-time employee to be on overhead when it is not absolutely necessary.
